| Busy, busy, busy! |
[Feb. 16th, 2009|11:28 pm] |
Well this weekend was a busy one. We had SUDC (Southern Universities Dance Competition) on Saturday, and the University of Kent even hosted it, although it was at K2 in Cawley. So there was a lot of preperation for that, and then of course we actually had to compete too. Kaz and I didn't get anywhere, but I had a lot of fun, even though I know she was disappointed. Oh well. Kent as a uni came fifth out of fourteen, and considerin that Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial and Bristol are bigger universities that us, that's an amazing result, the best we've had so far as a society.
And Saturday was also fun because it was Valentine's day and Dave's birthday. So he got 2 cards from me. And he'll get another on wednesday, when we actually exchange pressies. We decided to wait til wednesday because 1)it's easier, 2) it's our anniversary on wed and 3) he has his interview wed, so we can either celebrate or have a commiseratory dinner. (Also, I ordered his pressie online, and it didn't arrive before sat, so he has to wait until Wednesday!!)
Right, I have just checked all my dates, and I have one essay due this Friday, and two due next monday. I think I may be slightly screwed. *sighs*
Oh, also the pirate society is thinking about auctioning off people (apparently the cheerleaders do it) and Mark asked if he can auction me. Tbh, I don't really mind, but I think Dave might have a few issues with it...
Ok... enough procrastinating... I'm going to read through essay titles now. Another busy week it is. |

| Ooooh!! Update! |
[Feb. 8th, 2009|06:12 pm] |
Hi!! I haven't been on here in THREE YEARS!! Or, at least, that's when my last update was. Lol.
So I am now in my second year of uni, and living in Canterbury, Kent, and generally enjoying life. And I think I shall try and get my housemates into livejournal too, so that when SJ and Emma graduate I still know what they're doing!! And I don't know what else to write now!! Should probs go anyway, because Sarah is waiting for me on Singstar!! And then I have to eat dinner. And get ready to go out to the cinema. (It's Emma and Dave's birthday next week, but we're celebrating this weekend instead because next week we have a dance competition!) =) |

We are sitting in our free, supposed to be doing English coursework, but so not doing it. Issy made me take a colour test. It was generally accurate.

| Hey!! |
[Jul. 10th, 2006|08:10 pm] |
I have been meaning to update for about a week now, but I'm only just getting round to it.
I haven't actually updated since the exams! Which btw, were horrible. But at least we're not really doing anything at school now. Well, we're supposed to be, but... I still think it's stupid to have to do coursework when we might drop the subject next year. Meh. If I knew that I was definitely carrying it on, I might try harder in English.
Anyway... I had a good weekend! ; ) On Thursday evening (which I count as the weekend) I went to Rosi's War of the World's concert, which was great. And I had 2 ice creams in the interval. (Oh,those theatre ice creams...)
On Friday, for the first time in ages, I wasn't doing anything, so I just sat about watching Big Brother. I can't believe how addictive it is! It's awful. I've taken to reading the BB AOL updates, so that I don't have to worry about watching it. (Plus my Dad thinks I'm watching it too much, which is an issue because the tv from my room is now downstairs. Temporarily. I hope.)
Anyway... yes. Saturday, the 8th, was my brothers 15th birthday. I still can't believe that he is now taller than me. Grrgh. So, I missed Issy's party : ( to spend the day with him. But we went to Thorpe Park, and as one of his friends couldn't go, I got to bring Katy, which meant that it was lots more fun!
On Sunday, Dad took me out driving. I still have issues starting the car without stalling - I should probably practice more. And then, in the evening, I went out to celebrate Issy's birthday which was great, and completely made up for the fact that I couldn't go on Saturday. Though, due to all the birthday celebrations, I have eaten lots of cake and ice cream and now feel very fat! It's a good thing that I walked home from school today!
And I guess that's about all I have to say! Today was boring; we did nothing at sch! Although, Issy and I are experiencing pain at the same time, which is kind of weird. |

| | scared | ] | Somebody please shoot me. Hopefully, it will solve all my problems. I have been up since 9, and considering that it's now half two, that means I've been up for five and a half hours. And I have managed to do absolutely nothing. I am supposed to be doing my bio coursework/revising and I just can't seem to do it. Which is really bad, because it's due in on Monday and I know I won't do it tomorrow because I'm going out. Help. |

[Mar. 24th, 2006|09:18 am] |
I am bored. So I thought I would update. I planned to earlier, but I keep getting distracted. I should probably being doing my biology coursework, but I can't be bothered. And it depresses me. I should also have probably done it yesterday, since we weren't in sch, but again I couldn't be bothered. Instead, I had my hair cut and painted about 50 nails. (40 false ones + my own). Ny hair doesn't look any shorter though, it just feels it. Oh, well.
Neither Katy or Issy were in registration this morning, so (unless Iss is late) I'm assuming they're ill. Hope you feel better soon! : ) Anyway, I can't really think of anything else to say. I'm only updating for the sake of updating. |

Ooooh, my brother just gave me some christmas earrings! They are giant angels which flash. They are actually hurting my ears now, but I'm in a christmassy mood so they're staying. I've also got christmas pictures painted on my nails which are very cool. |

When I got home from school yesterday my dad told me that we can no longer use one of our downstairs bathrooms...
When I went to find out why not, I discoverd cats! We are now the owners of two tortoiseshell sisters, who are one year old and unbelieveably cute! We must have worn them out yesterday by playing with them, because they haven't actually moved at all today. We have called them Pickle and Poppy.
Strangely, I think we have got their names the wrong way round - the older one is Pickle, but it is her sister who keeps getting trapped behind the boiler. Not good. This happened twice whilst I was trying to get ready last night, which was very stressful! - I went ice skating with the Rangers in London, but it wasn't very good. The meal afterwards, however, was great, and so I had lots of fun. |

I had 'fun' on Saturday. I was going to update about it earlier, but I got distracted, with work and such. But I have now finished all my hw (that is due anyway), so I have time to update.
On Friday, Miss D'Souza told us we would have a 15mark essay test on Monday. Giving us only two days to revise!! Plus, it was on over half of our text book. grrgh. And, when it came to the test, we were also given the 3m and 7m questions! Luckily, she was away, so our test was, um, unsupervised.
Anyway, on Saturday, Issy came over to work on our English essays and revise the history. (My family went to see Harry Potter without me...) Whilst revising the history - by which I mean Issy singing out the text book to the guitar - I discovered why I am Issy's friend. It is because I make her laugh. And not because I'm incredibly witty (which, you know, I can be) but because she likes laughing at me. Or rather at my clumsiness. Which isn't really an issue when she's not around, funnily enough. Anyway, on Saturday I made her laugh by managing to:
- fall down the stairs
- consume a whole tub of icecream
- hit myself on my head with my guitar
- set fire to my bedroom.
I am never leaving candles unattended from now on.
But at least I got to laugh at her too. She managed to fall off my massive double bed. And she repeatedly hurt herself, using only her mobile phone. Ha. |

Katy has finally updated, and it has inspired me to do so too.
Plus, I want to moan. My brother taped over Charmed. I will kill him. It's really stupid as well, because he was the one who recorded the Charmed episode, before taping over it. meh. I'm also fairly certain that I failed my history test. There were all these questions on Russia and Germany that I could actually answer, but no, we had to write about Italy. Does anyone know who the blackshirts were? (The Italian ones, not the German ones).
On the plus side, my chemistry test was cancelled. And my guitar lesson went well. And 'my' new car is sitting on our drive! :) So, I suppose overall things are good. Anyway, I have to go, because Christopher 'needs' the computer. Apparently he will spontaneously combust (like Cedric Diggory, or the guy on Bleak House that Issy as telling me about,) if he doesn't use it. |

Hee! I am in a good mood (possibly because I have just consumed two large Starbucks frappachinos) and so I have finally decided to update. (I blame the frappachino addiction on Jo and Katy).
Last weekend was fun - we had fireworks at home on Saturday. Hannah, Rachael, Katie, James and Luke came over with their parents, and we took it in turns to light the fireworks and chase each other with sparklers... I loved acting like I was 8 again. Which, I then got to do on the Sunday as well, because we went to visit my cousins where we played hide and seek again, and I stole Kate's fairy wings. Fairy wings are now on my Christmas Presents List. Just if anyone's wondering.
Last week at school was sooo long! Even with the Academic Review Day. Probably because I had a load of English to do. (Which I still have to do, actually). And Katy was ill, so I had no one to be sarcastic with. I'm glad you're better Katy! Yesturday, in Chemistry, the lesson before lunch, we did experiments on chocolate. We broke it into pieces and melted it, which made the whole room smell delicious. We were not allowed to eat the choclolate. As soon as I got home I promtly ate a bar of Cadburys.
Which brings us to today. Today, I went shopping. All day. I spent over £30 on makeup, I bought 3 scarves, I have a coat, and I got some earrings. (And the two frappachinos!) Personally, I feel it was all very successful. |

Hmmm, it's been over a week since I last updated, plus I'm bored so I thought I may as well do so now. It's funny how I am continuously typing this, yet when I try to do the same with my English essay (which is due in tomorrow) I can't think of anything to write.
So... I was up at 1 last night, doing my brothers RS questionnaire/my essay. Why is no one online at that time? I could have asked you all the RS questions! Anyway, 2 weekends ago with my cousins was fun. Rosie and Josh are now toddling around and I spent my whole time playing with them!! They're so cute. Except when they think that it's fun to throw the really hard snooker balls that we have. And last weekend (as in yesterday) was also fun as it was David's birthday and we had cake. Lots and lots of cake. Although, now that I think about it, there was actually more cake the weekend before when my cousins came over. Not that I'm complaining.
Anyway, I would like to spend some more time on here ( -there is nothing else to do!! Issy's on an art trip and Katy, I have no idea where you are! Are you ill? Hope you get better soon. Though you better not be ill just to avoid helping out at open evening!- ) but alas, it is the end of my free period and I must go to bio before I am late. Again. |

But, I had to update because I am sehr happy because I just took my earings out and put new ones in! :o) Okay, strictly speaking, I'm not supposed to take them out until Wednesday, but 4 days can't hurt can they? They are a bit red but, apart from that, have healed fine. Yayness! |

| I am bored. And tired. And does anyone else think that it's Friday today? |

This week is going majorly slowly. I really don't know why. Maybe it's because I'm so tired and I want to be able to lie in. Maybe. Although, my cousins are coming this weekend, so there's not much chance of that happening anyway.
I feel the need to tell people that it is my parents' 21st anniversary today. This means that they are currently at a restaurant, whilst I am at home, babysitting 3 boys. This also means that last night I was in our loft (which is unbelieveably jam-packed and very dusty), looking for photographs. - To go in the photo frame that Chris and I bought my parents. Sadly, I did not find any recent photographs of me, so they must make do with one of me aged about 11.
I did, however, find some very scary photographs. I can't believe how bad my fashion sense was 10 years ago. Nor how much my hair changed colour throughout the years. (I have some pictures where it is a very dark brown, and others where it is blonder than blonde.) I have to say though, that the most interesting photos that I found don't have me in them. They do however show a girl named Hazel with her arm around a girl named Esther... |

Well, atm it is 7 minutes past 12 and Katy and I are back at school, 'learning' about the SFSA. This means that Katy is improving the SFSA webpage by adding apostrophes and turning it into a world. There is even a potato turnippy thing. It's probably best not to ask. |

Hello!!! I feel like I haven't been on livejournal in ages! But I can't actually be bothered to update. I just have to let everyone know that my mouse SQUEAKS. I am talking about the mouse which inputs information to my computer. My computer mouse. I am starting to believe the Esure adverts which claim that a real mouse lives inside your computer mouse. That is all. |
